Advantages of carbon-filled polyamide

Carbon-filled polyamides have a number of advantages that distinguish them even from glass-filled polyamides. Among them we can emphasize the fact that carbon fiber reinforced plastic is not subject to "fatigue", i.e. it does not accumulate microcracks and even through damage does not lead to the destruction of the product. It can also be noted that the electrical conductivity of this material eliminates radio interference, thus the material is radio transparent. In addition, a number of other important advantages of carbon-filled polyamides can be emphasized:

  • wide temperature range of operation;

  • high wear resistance;

  • low coefficient of friction;

Features of reinforced polymeric materials
